Ahlström Capital has today sold two thirds of its holding in Nordkalk.

 

Nordkalk is the leading producer of high quality limestone-based products in Northern Europe. The products are used mainly in the paper, steel and building material industries as well as in environmental care and agriculture. Ahlström Capital initially invested in Nordkalk in 2002, increasing its holding later to 30.5%.

 

“During our period of investment Nordkalk’s net sales have increased from year to year and the company has considerably strengthened its position on the international market. We believe that this favorable development will go on under the new ownership”, says Panu Routila, President and CEO of Ahlström Capital.

 

Ahlström Capital will remain a shareholder in Nordkalk with a stake of 10%.
